Thanks for visiting the Bend Great Harvest Bread website! If you haven't been in to the bakery yet, I hope that after checking out all the info on this site that you will have found many great reason to give the store a visit.
Great Harvest Bread has been a huge part of my life for 25 years. It has been a wonderful time of being THE source for the best whole grain breads made with flour milled right in the back of the bakery. My 3 amazing daughters were raised in and around this bakery and it has been a pleasure to use the same discretion in what I would feed my family as to what I would provide for my community. Details like always using organic raisins and peanut butter that is all peanuts, offering organic bread options, never using corn syrup, doing everything possible to avoid GMO's, these are just a few of the things that you can count on in this bakery. Having a high standard of what I want to eat makes it easy to be selective in what I will serve others.
This Great Harvest Bread Co. in Bend is a dream come true. My passion for great tasting, nutritious bread, and my desire to run a community-based business, led me to Great Harvest Franchising. They have been making great bread for communities across the U.S. for over 30 years.
The Bend Great Harvest looks like no other Great Harvest out there. We operate under a “Freedom Franchise.” The “Freedom” part means that I get to run my business in a way that meets my community’s unique needs. The “Franchise” part gives me access to the recipes and processes that Great Harvest has continuously improved for over three decades. The result is breads and sweets that will knock your socks off!
Bend has been my home for over 20 years. Many years ago I made the decision to focus on bringing the best bread I could make, and a lot of wonderful sweets and sandwiches also, to this beautiful town on the Deschutes River. Come on in to our downtown location and say Hi!
We always have parking available in our lot on the south side of the bakery. We may be hard at work, "up to our elbows in dough", but we are really excited to bring this tradition to you, our neighbors and friends.
